<Lloyd> air is so clear or any PP og filter ?
Your lovely landscape shots make me miss nature sometimes, the cool northern nature rather than the hot, snake-ridden jungles of the tropics.
Just when I think I've seen most of it, around the next corner, something completely unexpected appears. Good, isn't it?

These are really neat pics ckhfrankie. Where is this tunnel located?
Jorgen: I don't know what that surprising object is, but it's beautiful. The shot of the child on the boat is one of my all time favorites among your posts. And that's saying a LOT!
chfrankie: The whole tunneling series is incredible. And, you have amazing access.
Gary: Love that first shot. The second is beautiful as well.
Thanks Lloyd! I wasn't sure if she was selling lampshades or hats....
Thanks a lot, Lloyd. Much appreciated.
Gary, if the lamp shades are from Thailand, they are hats, hill tribe hats (don't remember which tribe). Very nice colours.
chfrankie: What Lloyd said
" I sometimes think that never so red
The Rose as where some buried Caesar bled;
That every Hyacinth the Garden wears
Dropt in its Lap from some once lovely Head. "
The verse by Omar Khayyam..from the Rubaiyat.

It's film, but it's Nikon too. More at the analogue forum.

just a heads up...more suffering yesterday, testing out the window light at my new place. photos as soon as i download 'em. should be tonight.
Fun stuff, Frankie! Nicely done, and thanks for sharing.
Greetings All-haven't been around much and am trying to get back to some old haunts. Hope everyone's been busy and well. By the looks of the images, it sure looks like people are still having fun with their Nikons.
Gary-Great stuff. Love that second one especially. It really shows the elongation of her neck and it's interesting to see the natural posture as she sits, playing the guitar like that.
Jørgen - as I said in the F6 User Group, love the texture in that image of the little girl...
Frankie-great rugby shots. They look like tough gals ;-).
Here's a product shot I've been working on:
Made with the D3s of my trusty F6. 4 speed lights, run by the SU-800.
Re-processed an older D700 shot. Single shot from an HDR sequence.

Sorry, there is a misunderstanding. This is not an HDR photo. I ment to say that I took a single shot from a bracketed series and processed only that single shot.
So no HDR, maybe thats what makes it :-)
the as promised suffering. these are NSFW, hence linking to the flickr gallery. not pornographic...but there are bewbs. a couple artsy semi-nudes, and some silly terry richardson-esque shots. all with the d700 and 28-70/2.8 with SB900 set to overexpose a ton. no retouch, very minor tweaks in LR.
