It was a small village. No English..zip.
No Moslem food, for maybe 2-300 kms.

Kosher food. Explained using sign language.

Vegetarian food. Again showed him leaves, flowers etc.

He dropped us here, and took off.

Great, great and great again, all of them bear shots, Matt.
That said, maybe it's time you'd share the -definitely improved- new secret PP recipes? Or is it Tim's?
OK, both of you then... ;)
Corlan: Thanks! :D Tim's suggestion was a CS5 Selective color tip to remove the magenta cast. Only in California are bears purple.

Rayyan: Are these two photos taken in the same place? I like the upward right lines in the first. Nice body position with the arm and right leg. German, but, no English? :salute:

I like the BW Matt. quite nice.
Doug: Thank you! :D

Cheers, Matt.

Steve, even though i selected above two shots on the static side for their tension, great action set all the way. Love the band session, too. The cymbal bokeh ( or is it "symbalic"? ;) ) shot there is excellent, both visually and semantically. The band portraits on top, as usual.

I like the things on this page...

D3S/45mm 2.8 PC-E Silver Efex II Chestnut Top Trail Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Wild Iris, Tennessee State Flower: 45mm 2.8 PC-E I really wasn't trying for such a narrow depth of field on this shot, it just happened.

Doug, Beautiful Comps!

Loving the 14-24 d700 combo. Hope I get to shoot again with it. I got to rent this hunk of glass for an assignment last week XD

Rayyan: I was confused. You jet back and forth so fast. :D
Thanks! :D I don't think she's mad. That's a "don't you have better things to do" look. She's exceptionally tolerant; as long as you stay out of her and her cub's "personal" space. :D

Cinema: Nice natural image. Did you have to adjust much distortion to get the verticals and horizontals this good?

Rayyan: The pp's effect on the water, compared to the rest of the image, is very interesting. It is ice-like.
Rayyan: Great patina, moss, mold, aging, chipping, spalling, textural statue. :salute:

Cheers, Matt
