Been out in the woods on a fishing trip for the past several days. I've missed some beautiful images. Hats off to everyone!

Here are a few from the trip I did in a tired haze last night after returning home.

Best,
Tim

Believe it or not....Anchorage, Alaska does have a few new buildings. This is one of my favorites.....a new wing on the Anchorage Museum.

I love the way the receding line of this building seems to fade away....as if it were a mirage in the distant blue sky. I don't know what created that effect.

D2X and AF-S 16-85G lens.......one of these days, I'll have to put an AIS lens back on the D2X.

A mother sees her daughter for the first time in four years. She holds her daughter's passport in her hand. Long story. Custody issues across international borders.
For me, the most moving image I ever captured. Outside the Judge's Chambers.
Rayyan: The story really gives depth and emotion to the image. The expression, the way the mother's holding her child, the passport (?). Well seen. :salute:

Cheers, Matt.

Ben: Nicely photographed. Excellent composition. It does seem to fade away with the reflections of the clouds and sky.

Cheers, Matt
