Thanks, guys.
Lloyd, I don't think they allow that model in your country ;)
Next week, Rayyan, next week...

Beautiful, Rayyan

Damn! I'd consider changing countries for one of those! (As long as someone else paid the fuel and maintenance for me! ;))

+1 from me, Rayyan. Gorgeous, warm color. Love your processing!

Ok. I'll spill. She's SUPER animated (in a cute, but to me annoying, way), and she's ALWAYS late for everything... not just a little late either. I've had to meet her for shoots, etc., a number of times, and she's never been less than 45 minutes late. For this shoot, she was and hour and twenty minutes late!! Always apologizes, and always has lots of excuses. This time I told her never again... 15 minutes late, and I'm gone! I'm good friends with her husband.. great guy... and he tells me she's ALWAYS late for everything. Drives him crazy too.

Fantabulous!! :thumbs: The processing too!!:thumbs::thumbs:
You live in Boston, right?:D
No, I'm originally from Boston (and there are lots of Portuguese in the Boston area), but we currently live in Utah. Suburb of Salt Lake City.

Funny story, but is it any wonder with the 3 P's of female preparedness. Primping, pruning and preening. Better duck on that last statement. I can already hear the incoming.

Another really great portrait, Rayyan. Lots of life in that face. I really love the B/W processing on this one.

Thanks pal.

One more of her:
Fab-u-lous, Lloyd!! The colors are ( I have to think of the PC word here!! )
so..so sumptuous.

The lady is gorgeous. You must have made her real happy with these shots.

Difficult, but I go with the black blouse.

Well done sir!!:salute:

Thanks Rayyan. Very much appreciated.

Gratefully, she was happy with them. She can be pretty particular, so I was relieved.

I agree about the black. She showed up in the lavender dress, and I was soft on it right away.

Simple and yet appealing.
Nice one, Matt :)

Same goes for the passing tram (?) in B&W -with the extra original approach.

Been out in the woods on a fishing trip for the past several days. I've missed some beautiful images. Hats off to everyone!

Here are a few from the trip I did in a tired haze last night after returning home.

Best,
Tim
Like them all Tim, but for some reason this one "talks to me", in a nostalgic way.
Cool ant/ladybug shot, too. Definitely some tension there...

Lovely Ford shots, Tim.

Just a couple of hundred meters left to the party. Time to start dancing!

D300 with 70-300 ED @ 155mm and f/7.1

Dancing colors. Beautiful.

Believe it or not....Anchorage, Alaska does have a few new buildings. This is one of my favorites.....a new wing on the Anchorage Museum.

I love the way the receding line of this building seems to fade away....as if it were a mirage in the distant blue sky. I don't know what created that effect.

Gary

D2X and AF-S 16-85G lens.......one of these days, I'll have to put an AIS lens back on the D2X.
I'll defer to the specialist (Matt) appreciation here: framing and blending are both excellent indeed.

Lens look pretty ok btw. What was the FL here?
Any PC after the fact?

A lot of humanity in these portraits, Rayyan.
( and in some way, the statement also goes for your "siesta hour" shot ;) )

Great, as usual.

Color version of the earlier post.

Nice subject, and terrific photo. Due to the layered composition and lighting, this one (in color) would definitely be my pick. The tones are terrific, too.
