Greetings All-haven't been around much and am trying to get back to some old haunts. Hope everyone's been busy and well. By the looks of the images, it sure looks like people are still having fun with their Nikons.

Gary-Great stuff. Love that second one especially. It really shows the elongation of her neck and it's interesting to see the natural posture as she sits, playing the guitar like that.
Jørgen - as I said in the F6 User Group, love the texture in that image of the little girl...
Frankie-great rugby shots. They look like tough gals ;-).

Here's a product shot I've been working on:

Made with the D3s of my trusty F6. 4 speed lights, run by the SU-800.

Sorry, there is a misunderstanding. This is not an HDR photo. I ment to say that I took a single shot from a bracketed series and processed only that single shot.

So no HDR, maybe thats what makes it :)

the as promised suffering. these are NSFW, hence linking to the flickr gallery. not pornographic...but there are bewbs. a couple artsy semi-nudes, and some silly terry richardson-esque shots. all with the d700 and 28-70/2.8 with SB900 set to overexpose a ton. no retouch, very minor tweaks in LR.

Looks like a fun shoot, Daves. And let me be the first to say THANK YOU! :D

Since last fall I've been shooting primarily film, though also been working the D3s pretty hard right along side it. Last September I made a trip to Washington State's Olympic Peninsula, where I ran mostly Velvia through the F6, and good bit of Tri-X through the Mamiya. I brought the D3s along and used it as well. Here are a few images from the combination of the two Nikons (I'll save the Mamiya images for the analogue forum):

A triptych of the Hoh Rain Forest, 3 exposures with the F6 on Velvia.

Cape Flattery, The Northwestern Most Point in the contiguous United States, Olympic National Park (D3s)

No, I have no idea. Does it even matter?

D300 with 85mm f/1.8 @ f/2.5

And another one, from today also.

D300 with 85mm f/1.8 @ f/3.2
