shot looks great. looks like camera, lens, photographer, and subject were all fantastic.I'll se what come first 8 or 600 here in DK.. That might be my choice.
The D7000 i had was really good in IQ / DR - and with a grib not that small, body feel's solid, but the finder and AF not up to the bigger bodys. But I really ditten miss any features on the D7000, and have as you say pc s/auto synk..
This is RAW of af camera D7000 and a 24-70 f72.8 - natural light only (just a little bur of background.
d'oh! exactly what i didn't need to hearI finally realised that there was no way around buying one to find out if I'd like it or not. So far, I like it, but it's getting more expensive than planned :facesmack:

+1Great stuff, Steve. That third one is especially good.
JanJan are you seeing increased noise in the shadows at long exposures? Eleanor
Wow!just a quick comparison.. M9 w 50mm Lux preasph vs D800E Sigma 50 1.4
both at f8 @1/125th.. tripod mount, almost same capture area (had to move back about a foot with the Leica to frame about the same).
Leica, rangefinder focus, D800e LiveView
Not meant to be anything other than a quick, unscientific look at the two cameras
no sharpening in either, the rest were just default Lightroom settings (RAW captures)
jpgs, compressed @ 95
if i get around to it, i'll upload the RAW files (if there's a desire to play with those)
