Today I took a webinar from Digital Transitions on the workings of Capture One Pro 7, dug up this photo started from scratch and a couple final tweaks in CS6.

Graham, Oamkamur, Shashin, Mikael, Dan, Pramote: Sensational work all!!
Thank you.

The neat thing about my star trails is it was not done outside--that was shot in a planetarium--stars don't trail that quickly in 30 seconds at 8mm. But when you can control the planetarium, then you can really have fun, although it is a real pain to process.

The one in the middle is a cover plate in the Planetarium dome. The other, I am not sure. It might be a dust spot, but I was only shooting at f/5.6.

I think Juergen yanked your chain :ROTFL:
Well, I can't tell him the truth that they are the ships from Theta Tau. You can only see the cloaking device with long exposures from a D800--MFD ain't gonna do that. The official announcement is that they are black holes, or dark gray holes, to be more precise.
