Antonio,
This is superb!. The Horseman gives you tilts & shifts?
Does anyone make an adapter that will allow the use of Enlarging lenses?
I have a few Rodenstock APOs.........I bet they would be sharp.
All the best,
Mike
This is a wrought copper ring taken yesterday.
The shooting angle as client requested.
Nikon D800 + Horseman VVC Pro +120mm Rodenstock APO.
Hope you like it.

Just right Mike. You get tilt, shifts and rear shifts for stiching. You get lens mount for these lenses as well.

I have two Rodenstock APO Rodagon D (80 and 120mm) they are superb. They were design as enlarging and taking lenses for macro photography in mind.

The Rodenstock APO Rodagon N are in the same league.

I also have a Nikkor AM-ED 120mm APO 6x9 lens that allow me to go 2:1 for Jewellery details. I had a Durst Seimar enlarging mount soldered to a Horseman mount to be able to go that close. The 120mm mounted on the horseman mount won't allow more that 1:2.

The 120's are my favourite lenses as I don't need to be so close to the piece.

Thanks for the comments.

Fascinating solution, Antonio, and the copper ring picture looks really great.

Does it expose the sensor to a lot of dust or is it not a major problem ?

Hi Steen, thanks for the comment.
You get a bit more dust than usual, I get to clean more often but not a problem for me. I have my cleaning ready every 2 weeks.
Same as a MFD with technical cameras I guess.
Cheers

Lots of lovely images, being posted. I am way behind. Well done folks!

I dusted off the old D700 today. Confined to the house temporarily, good time
to see the little things around me....

Still believe the D700 is the one to beat!!:D

One from yesteryear. Still believe the D700 is the one to beat.

Can new models be just a fad? Hope not; seeing the frenzy they develop, combined with people salivating at the thought of possessing the latest...
Of course, for some a new model leads to frothing at the mouth..in contrast to the salivating population.

Great to see you up to some shooting and some sharing. Very nice images. And yes, I agree that the D700 is hard to beat. More than up to most anything asked of it.

Beautiful, Rayyan, and yes, I've just bought a D700, a camera that will stay with me for very many years. A great companion to the F6 also :)

It is said that quality never goes out of style.

Fads are just that. Fads. Another fad shall come along soon enough.
