First, thanks for the likes and comments, I do appreciate it.

Yes the altitude can be a problem, I'm fat and old so if I can make it anyone could! You take a bus from the village at the bottom of the mountain to the entrance to Machu Picchu then it is only a few hundred feet up to where I took the photo. Machu Picchu is one of those locations where none of my photos (or any that I've seen) does it justice; you need to experience it in person.

Speaking of high, this photo is of Lake Titicaca which is at almost 13,000'. The mountains in the distance are the Andes and the peak on the right is ~22,000'.

Now I shoot with two hands - D3x & D800e :) No need to change lenses!
