Outside a Buddhist temple that I could not climb. Just happens to be one of the largest in the world.


p.s. them dots is birds.

Lloyd, my friend, thank you. Yes it was, shall we say, a difficult and different experience for me. I would not do it alone next time. 95% of the time it was rainy, sloshing through mud and trekking slippery slopes.

My regret..that I could not get through the cloud cover to get a shot of the lava flow at night.

Whether Nikon brings out a mirror less cam or whether it took them 15 years to allow some lenses to meter...are of no use to me.

Heck I learnt to expose without a meter in about 2 years. Why wait 15 years?:confused:

Anyway the Df it was that was with me...
