Madonna Seruto is a neighborhood local and has been a guide at the Nelson Mandela House heritage site at 8115 Vilakazi Street, Orlando West in Soweto (south-western townships) for over ten years now. At first I was bummed I only got a shot of her with her eyes closed, but then I realized she keeps her eyes closed or squints most of the time, so I guess this is really her. :)

I dont know if its only me, but when working in C1 and uploading pictures here, they are getting less saturated og the pictures are getting a bit lighter, so they appear somehow a bit flatter. So one has to turn up saturation and turning light down to match.
But its hard to hit spot on, comparing to C1, which seems to have more structure. Is it only me?
Make sure you convert images to sRGB.

Sunday there was Copenhagen Classic Race

Nikon D700 20/2.8D iso 200 1/1250 f4 C1
Jan Magnussen getting ready for overtaking Casper Elgaard..
(love that little old lens, primitiv, light, small, but soft in corners, vignetting, though somehow I love it, has some special authenticity)

Beautiful photo. I'm actually going in a few days, unfortunately not that far north and unfortunately mostly for work, but hopefully, I have time for a couple of photos now and then :)
