Very nice pictures Alon!, thanks. I must admit it does something with the colourtones and the roomy feeling, the perspective is specially felt in Biscuit-store picture. And those colours do something!

Yes, you are right. Such is the signature of Leica glass.

Next should be the Leica R Summilux 80/ 1.4 but maybe I will jump this lens for later and post images with the Leica R Summicron 90/2 APO Aspherical.

Gonna be a rough ride, hold on to your hat.

Just to remind you that Leica R lenses adapt easily to the EOS mount...no Leitaxing. I have been using the 35/2.8 Elmarit, 60/2.8 Macro, 90/2 Summicron, 100/2.8 Apo-Macro, 135/2.8, 180/4, 35-70/4, 80/200/4 with the Canon 5D MKII...very pleased with the results.

I use the Apo Telyt 280 2,8 since some days now and all I can say I love the rendering of this lens. Here is a sample shot of a boring flowers in the garden test :) Distance ca: 3m, @5,6

Most Leica R have their particular render signature.

I had the 280/2.8 APO Telyt but kept only the 280/4 APO Telyt which is a very special lens and the top lens in the Leica R range and probably top of all other makes in it's focal lens.

I did not try yet my Leica R 280/4 APO Telyt on the D800/E and will post as soon as I do.
