I agree, but it lacks live view, and for me, that rules the Sony out, I'm afraid. That's the single serious omission with this body IMO. Strange really.
That's the one thing I'm glad they left off. That, and video. Oh, and the ability to open a can. ;)

I find the Sony adjustable preview feature more useful for my work than live view... because it's faster ... which is what I use a 35mm DSLR for .... speed.

What prevents Sony from being a drop-kick for me is the lack of T/S lenses. I am currently in the throes of acquiring one for my D300 which I will keep moving up whatever body I get to replace it in the future.
