New 35mm 1.8 FX lens

It looks like a Nikon G lensI'd suspect performance better than the old 35/1.8 in the corners, probably on-par with the 28/1.8G. It would be nice if it was as good as the Sigma 35/1.4 art lens -- it will then be a nice size and cost compromise...
Frankly Nikon has been a let down for me in terms of the lasts lenses. The exception could be the 800mm (have not use it, and I am not sure abut the results).
So I don't have great expectation of it.
Let wait and see.
