New Tamron Primes; very promising

Currently the 35mm is about 40% more than the Canon 35mm f2 IS can be had for and I was extremely impressed by the Canon (review here). Eyeball slicing wide open? No, but very sharp, for sure, lovely rendering overall, good price (now, long after release) good size and weight and phenomenally good IS. I got a 50% hit rate for very sharp frames at one second. I could not believe it. Half a second is about 75% and upwards.

I am v glad Tamron has released these lenses and I am sure there will be more to come. Maybe a 24mm and 85mm?
