Keith, Good to see some more from your trip. The DxO filmpack application looks interesting. Do you have the DxO RAW developer as well? Never here much about it.

One from Yesterday. I was shooting this shopwindow when these two people walked into the viewfinder. The other ones I shot were no good.

A stroke of good timing, Michiel!

I just have the DxO Filmpack 3. Someone on the Pentax Q thread had done a nice image with it, so I thought I would give it a try. It's lots of fun!

Duane, nothing better as a good book except may be a nice camera

One from Picardy, France.

.....
Michiel you're killing me with that 25/2.8! BTW, I'm traveling in Europe this week with work and my 40mm Summicron went TU (tits up). The aperture ring came loose from the internal mechanism and spins 360 degrees. :wtf: OVER!

So I'm now in London and heading down into the city to see Cristian Sorega. I'm also renting the Biogon 35/2 for week when I get home tomorrow.

Duane; that Summicron can probably be repaired and get a complete CLA at the same time. I brought some lenses here and they did a great job. He is a Leica specialist.
Before I had another camera repair shop doing things for me and they were no good at all.

Looked at the blog of your friend, Cristian Sorega in London. Interesting, I visited his site before I noticed.

Keith; You got that A16, I see. Looks good as well as your garden, I presume. :)

From my evening windy walk along the fields.

Now that's a pain! I'm sure the Summi can be repaired, but it's darn inconvenient when stuff like that happens when you're traveling.

Of course I had my A12 28 with me but it took me a bit to remember how to use it! Btw, I've purchased a v2 35mm Summicron on eBay. May need a room to rent when the boss finds out!

I've already spoken to Youxin Ye and he can fix it. Will send it off tomorrow. I've rented the Zeiss 35/2 and 50/2 this week for fathers day today.

Hello, all.

By way of introduction: I've been a Pentaxian for four-or-five years, and last year I bought a Nex-5. I wanted to have a smaller kit, and wanted to play with new toys from eBay. All was well with an old Elmar 3.5/50 and an Elmar 4/90, but then Godfrey came to visit and introduced me to the GXR, and, worse, to the magenta cast that wide angle lenses produce on the Nex.

So Darth Godfrey turned me to the Dark Side, and here I am! Still a Pentaxian, though....

Here's a recent shot:

Really nice shot!
Then you must have some shots in your drawer, from the time when Mike Hailwood won the TT on the Ducati 900?

I wish....

I moved here in 1980, but wouldn't have known one end of a camera from another in those days!

All this shutter clicking is Godfrey's fault, 'onest, officer..
