I have the DP2M myself, and it's not a matter of processing it well or not. Some just have more right than others. If you look at the EXIF for these, I don't think they were processed very well. For one thing the color mode on all of them is "standard" and I really think "Neutral" is a better base for color. Also, the indoor ones at least really abused the Fill Light feature of SPP, values as high as 1.1... that can also mess with colors and lead to odd artifacts.
Some great looking pictures. The camera in the hand of a better photographer I let you translate.
CASE OF SIGMA | DP3 Merill ?????????? | -photo.yodobashi.com-
Thanks, just downloaded it. Eventually one can turn off noise reduction.
I've got a similar setup (iMac & 10.6.8), with every version of SPP since 2.1 installed. I installed 5.5 and it's running fine for me—in fact I was running 5.4 and 5.5 concurrently. Monochrome works with my Merrill images, and the SD15 stuff I have seems to be acting fine.If you're on a Mac, don't delete SPP 5.4 as Version 5.5 is buggy and will cause your app to freeze. Instructions state that one should delete the current version before installing the update and I did this before installing 5.5 It froze as soon as I tried to open an image. I trashed the app, re-installed it and it still freezes.
I'm running OS 10.6.8 and the software freezes and will not run. After re-installing the prior Version 5.4 everything works fine.

Are you getting any crash logs, or does it just sit and spin?
Jim
On a Mac you don't need to un-install the older version, that's for Windows...If you're on a Mac, don't delete SPP 5.4 as Version 5.5 is buggy and will cause your app to freeze.
