It really is impossible not to like this little camera. The quest for an in-your-pocket-serious-compact is solved.

Two different views of the new MTV studios building in Camden Town, London.

I just picked up a GR on sale, and will be joining the party soon. And as a bonus my BJ-6 charger from my GRDigital, (the first GR digital camera) works with the GR batteries.
It's all good.....

The Ricoh is actually the perfect horse camera . . .

Here is My Man Sam (looking for apples in my pocketless)

Looking for Apples

Sam is a lovely horse - but a definite opportunist - taking photographs when riding (as far as he's concerned) is an opportunity to head for the hedgerow.
So it's important to be able to get the camera out and grab the shot FAST

She's getting away from us

The other problem is that a trotting horse is the obverse of Image Stabilisation, and Sam is the master of Image DeStabilisation! TAV mode solves this problem pretty well

Sam as a Tripod

I'm sure you all found that really useful :ROTFL::ROTFL::ROTFL::deadhorse:
