With Ricoh GR I take pictures in variety of activities; fast transfers
in the mountains, ski alpinism, ultra trail, etc. Then I just reach
into my backpack side pocket for the camera, which is available
    immediately.
With Leica Q I shoot when there's enough time for composition or in the street.

Thank you for your answer. Portability is an undeniable benefit of the GR.

    Re: FUN with Ricoh GR!!!

There is quite a fun thread going on at the Ricoh GR Street Photography public Facebook group about how much we all love and admire the GR. I contributed this photo (actually taken with my GX8) to the thread parodying the old car bumper sticker and which I called "My other camera is a GR!"

    I love my GR.

Is it weird that I own both of these too?
On the one hand - how many fixed-lens 28mm cameras does a guy need?
On the other - the GR is so small, and such a great value..

Makes me wonder why we mess around with the Sigmas. That GR is something else.

    Re: FUN with Ricoh GR!!!

This is a 13 shot stitch with Kolor Autopano taken handheld with the GR. I've linked it through to my Flickr account where I've put a full sized jpeg. The detail is amazing, imho. Love the GR!

Cleveland Street Workhouse, London (1788). Still in use well into the 20th century and then added to the estate of University College Hospital. There were plans to tear it down but it was saved by public outcry. I wonder if it going to be sold off and gentrified - which would be the ultimate irony for a workhouse.

Such a pleasure to use, I'm really looking forward to seeing what Ricoh will put in the next generation.
Hopefully the K3II sensor and if they can add the stabilization and pixel shift it would be fantastic.
