Hi all, I'm new here and enjoying all your posts and comments.
I do a lots of urban nature photography with the D-FA 50mm macro and the D-FA 100mm macro WR and also with the DA*300mm F4. This one with DA*300.
ISO 400, F8, 1/640, processed in Lightroom 3,6.

K5lls - effects of Sandy

Lake Ontario this afternoon. Lots of rain and wind, but I think the US took the brunt of it. Sensor looks good, but I'd like some sunshine!

Lovely bird and lovely colours, Trygve.
And a pretty cool performer this DA*300.
Still on my wish-list as is the DA*50-135.

All the best.

Thank you Bart.
I think that the DA*300 is one of the best Pentax lenses that I have.

Keith.......these look so intriguing. The K-5 is my all-time favorite DSLR, and these shots really pique my curiosity. So crisp.

Thanks Rich, indeed this new sensor has a lot going for it - the images are lovely. Sharpness and color are better than the K5.

Vaxwing BW. Used CP1 v.7 for converting the PEF-file to BW.
I wonder how the sharpness would have been with the K5-IIs.
