. . . . .

. . . . and on a more serious note, I know I need a dSLR equivalent to go along with my Leica - I already have the OMD, but I'm dithering between keeping it, buying the K5 IIs . . and selling out and buying an A99.
Jono

Remember its not a dSLR unless it has "mirror slap"

Keith,

you poor lonely K-01 owner, didn't you know you should always wait for Jono ?
He's the pathfinder, so to speak, or better still the forum's Cavia Porcellus..
:ROTFL:
oink oink . . . I haven't really been living up to it recently though have I?
As for being a Sony man . . . there isn't really much left. The other temptation is to simply sell everything except for the M9 and lenses, as I think the M (240) may just do everything I need :ROTFL::deadhorse::chug::loco:

With regards to the M-240, may I assume you speak from experience? :D

Hi there Rich,

actually the rain and spray from the surf weren't so bad, but it was the relentless sand-blasting that made me chicken out and walk back to my car.
Camera, lens and me (nose, ears, hair) covered all over with sand and salt.
Luckily no visible damage to the front element !

All the best

I've been sandblasted on your Dutch beaches . . . . not pleasant.
