My heartfelt thanks to all who took the time to wish me well.
It proves that a forum such as this is more than about photography.....it is about wonderful people who happen to have a shared interest in our hobby.
I was really blessed with regard to the hematoma because, according to the doctors, if I hadn't had the surgery when I did, even a couple of hours later the result would likely have been permanent paralysis.
So as it turns out I survived, prospered and now look forward to the rest of my life, photographically and otherwise.
