i1Photo Pro vs old i1Photo

Now that the new i1Photo Pro is out, I was wondering how is it perform compare to the old one. Some new features specially in the software and engine. (does it use the same Spectrophotometer as the old one?)

Can I get significantly better color with the new one? I have the old i1Photo.

I print with Epson 9900 up to 44" wide.

Thanks,
Dan

I have not attempted a paper profile as yet, but it did produce a superior monitor profile for me that actually managed yo match a mid grey on a nec 3090 wide gamut and mac 27 hd which is a feat never before accomplished.

I forgot to say that it used the old i1 pro spectro perfectly.
Note that you can download the portion that performs monitor profiling apparently for free from the X-Rite web site.
That will also give you a better feel for its operation and layout.
