Hi All

I am new to the forum so I appreciate any help I get from this.
I have to photograph a bunch of rings which I am used to but the client wants to be able to use images for display up to 1m.
Apart from the usual info regarding viewing distance etc what size in pixels would say a ring need to be in order to reproduce that large and look good.
I understand 'good' is a very subjective term but I guess any working photographers will know what I am getting at.
I will be focus-stacking using either a D800e and 105/200mm micro or the H4D-40 with 120mm Macro.
Your opinions on the choice of gear will be appreciated also.
Thanks
Mark
