HP z3200 and Alt Process printing

Low & high value separation with the HPz3100 was difficult to manage (could be done.. but took a lot of work)

HP provided a in printer profile so no aggresive curves are necessary to linearize out of Photoshop.

Was never able to get this image's low values exactly the way I wanted.. until now

Cesium Platinum print.. 6x6"

Could not get the tonal gradation in the high end previously either.

(there's texture from the paper in the scan as well.. so the print looks better/smoother)


(This is a Lithium Palladium print, rather than Cesium. much more neutral tone)
