So many amazing photos in this thread!

From time to time, I borrow my better half's G10 just for fun. I always have to remember to set it back to the green box mode when I'm done though...:D

Here is a little "accident" that has ended up being one of my all-time favorite photos. See if you can guess what it is.

Nice accident tokengirl! looks like someone taking a jumper off.
Shirokuro, great angle , and the BnW works so well . Exposure and the focus are superb.
Even in Japan people fix their cars on the road! In Italy you cant even wash the car in the road without being fined.

All the best

Yes, socialists are pretty much just like other thinking people, more sensitive to the plight of the underdog though. I think all the shots on this page are excellent. I have taken some pretty good pictures that I took with my Konica Minolta DiMage A2 and A200, but I am too shy right now to share them. Neither even approaches the pq of the Sigma. I think it goes to prove that it is the photographer not the camera (within reason) that determines whether it is a "good" photograph or not. How is the build quality of the Sigma? Their lenses have been a disappointment for me, at least the one manual zoom I purchased in the 80s and it wasn't low cost. I've wanted to get a 70-200 zoom but neither the Tamron or the Sigma seem to be ideal as far as sharpness or quality control and build quality. I really couldn't buy one right now anyway since I have hardly any income.

A few shots from a wetland area near my house. G11, f/4, EV -2/3 the first one is 400 ISO and the rest are 80 ISO.

Will , great colours. I have no idea what it is though!
Yesterday saw the Coca-Cola Tram in Milano. Very cold and windy.
Set iso at 100, locked the exposure , braced the GX100 against a lamppost then waited for the tram to get moving. The wind wa blowing around all the hanging deco lights, which makes for the line of moving light in front of the tram.Plus I think I was shaking too....

We had lots of snow here again today and I'm glad to say my daughter still knows how to enjoy it. She did land a few snowballs on her brothers but I think they won!

Never used the flash on my GRD2 before but it was virtually dark so I gave it a try and I think it produced an interesting effect with the snow.
