Two examples of classical architecture being surrounded and dwarfed by modern technology. Istanbul, Sigma DP1.

Osman,
really like the first shot, seems like part of a movie. Certainly the old part is the prettier.

LX3 on "Acid"
I'm really enjoying my LX3 which I treated myself to at Xmas. Going a bit OTT with HDR but it's fun. After a lifetime of lugging pro packages around it makes a nice change.
Retirement beckons in a couple of years and I see myself moving to micro 4/3rds.

Could someone help me out here, I had to replace a monitor - the old one died - and I failed to recalibrate it. I have PP some images but after looking at them on other monitors they dont look right. The new monitor was very bright and punchy out of the box and hence my images are PPed a bit duller than they should be.
I better find that 'spider' calibrator
thoughts on this..
