Cheap! Just took my DP2 out today at lunch with a tripod for the first time in a long time. Plan on taking the DP1 later this week.

don, i think you won't regret it. sigma may just have been sending up a balloon with the dp1s, and it didn't have many improvements that could be called such. best of luck.

Thanks Wayne. In my life there are only a few cameras I ever missed after selling them.
The DP1 is close to the top of the list.

Thanks Retow,
That camera and it's images have haunted me since I sold it.
I'm still in love with the Pen but the DP1 is on it's way home.
I'll probably use it at the Mummers Parade on New Years.

For my need, m4/3 and DP complement one another nicely. When I want highest IQ in compact form, the DP1 or 2 are in my pocket.

Siggy arrived a few days ago.
Opened the box, checked to make sure all was ok.
Back in the box, sleeping till duty calls....

I rattle my own cage whenever I open a DP file.
But I do compare everything against it....
