It is a crime to relegate this camera to "small sensors"--as is plain from many of the shots in this thread.

I'm just amazed at the ire it draws--reminds me of the early nex days.

truth be told its a rollei on steroids and puts many an aps-c to shame.
I agree, Its in a class on its own. Perhaps this forum could be rename from "Small Sensor Camera" to Fixed Lens Compact or some other.

I look at these images and continue to be impressed. I really like Sony's out of camera jpg colours too. They are quite balanced. I'd be up for a RX100 if I could move some other gear.

Nice quality to that video, Po-Ming. Ta for the link. I've never tried video. I'll have to write a film script!.

I hope so, but currently I get out the house in the dark and when I get home...
Thankfully the camera is great in low-light, too. :)
