Saw this from you on the other forum, Riley. Thanks again for posting the link. Although I very much hope any new 4/3 Leica would be based on E-3, I suspect it could well be on the Panasonic equivalent (not the L10) shown on the list. The interesting thing is that the Leica is listed as Pro-grade as opposed to the Pana's prosumer and comes before it on the list. The plot thickens!

One of the nice things with 4/3, is that it doesn't matter who makes the camera. It's up to the photographer to choose the one that suits his needs best. At the moment, the E-3 is on top, but Leica obviously has the resources to develop the concept further.

From the Let's talk R-10 thread on the Leica R forum:
The link points to a report summarizing a talk at LHSA's 2007 annual convention where "Herr Andreas Kaufmann, owner of Leica, spoke of their plans for the next generation R camera." David Young wrote:
Hr. Kaufmann did confirm that Leica have twenty-four (count 'em ...24!) new lenses in development! If we assume that 6 new "M" lenses per year is overkill, that still leaves 18 new lenses for the "R" line. Whether they are required for AF, or for a larger sensor, or both, only time will tell. But there is no doubt, that an entire new fleet of "R" glass is on the horizon. Hr. Kaufmann also indicated that Leica are moving fast towards a policy of having stock available for shipment almost as soon as products are officially announced. If this is realized, then we should see a new "R' camera and an entire line of new lenses, by the end of next year.
Despite Mr Young's assumption that all of the 24 lenses are intended for the M and R lines, wouldn't a more likely explanation be that at least a few of them will have a 4/3rds mount?

I assume that we can assume that the "24" does not include any Panaleica lenses, as Leica seems only to have a design oversight and quality control input. Oh and no sign yet of the 14-150 in Singapore.
