Thought I'd start a new theme.
Thought I'd start a new theme.
OK, I like shadows :-)
From jugs to mugs!
I tried an extreme pp on this sepia one. I think it created some interesting details. What do you think?
M6 ; )
Lots of interesting images here but I particularly like this last one. Would have like to have taken that one myself.
ShiroKuro, M6 is a film camera I think, not a small sensor digicam, ho hum
hehe true, but would 35mm be small compared to large format film.
I recognised the face only after opening the image on my computer...
Almost looks like the lines are painted on the log.
V&A Museum, London
great idea, will!

Not shot with an M6 .....
I found this crossing shadows an 5th Av:
Another nice effect I detect at the South Port:
Got into work, clocked in looked up the stairs and saw this.
managed to keep out of the shot!
Some great photos here BTW.
Here is my shadow with h3d-50
Great shot BlasR !!
My Favourite trattoria near to Marzabotto ( Bologna province).
A bit eccentric but you have a choice of 40 first dishes and 40 second with all the
variations. Menu ( I kid you not) changes daily! Went there one time to find 2 fire trucks in the car park, the firemen had stopped there for lunch....
the menu (just to show its size)
This menu is not a shadow of any other!
A couple from the GX200

Very nice photos. Must say I like the leaning fence one a log BlasR.
I think this one applies (possibly posted it elsewhere as well)
Wow, this thread has livened up a bit lately. Really good images being posted people!
Inspired me to look for more to post.
Old one I have probably posted a long time ago elsewhere.
Olympus C3040Z (makes me wonder why I don't still use it!
This is a great thread, Will. Lots of very very striking photos, especially the latest post from your Olympus C3040Z.
Here's an infrared (not that it matters, considering the subject) I took a few years ago with the help of a manhole cover.
that's a great one, don.

I'm never 100% sure what photos apply for this thread, but I think this one just about does.
An excellent thread with interesting variations on the theme indeed
here are 2 from me
Light in the shadows, windows reflecting into shade.
I ran the RAW from my gx100 through Silkypix free then , after cropping tried out Sigmasp3 on the JPG's.
The letterbox and Yellow house are RAW from the GX100 run through Silkypix-
This is really a good thread! Hope my submissions are up to the standards set!
Some very strong photos here. Really enjoyable thread.
I'm loving the images everyone is posting.
A couple more GRD2 shots.
Nice shots Will! Like the toning a lot.
GRD/GW-1 shot here;
you started an Ace thread. Is that you reading a book in the second pic? The first pic of the Bike is an interesting picture to look
at and enjoy.
Lili Like yours too,a difficult one to take with the sun in front.
one from my Flickr
Back of the office, trucks waiting for loads.Long Wait! GX100
G1 Camera Phone and Silkypix

oops! just realised that I had posted those last two already
And yes that is me 'reading the book' paul
The toning is direct from the GRD2 Lily so I have to give Ricoh credit for that.
High contrast in the greek summer.
First, an apology: Just checked exif on the one I posted above (red luggage) and it's not a 'small sensor' shot. It was taken with a D70.
So, I owe this thread another photo. This was definitely a small sensor photo -- Fuji F20.
