This is the view from my house window....

The TV remote control that will always be by my side.. :)

A granite table with chess board design...

Ermmm... I selected Sephia and brought the Contrast and Sharpness by one notch.

Btw, wht's the diff between B&W TE and B&W?

'TE' is 'Toning Effect'. The camera takes the monochrome B&W image and applies a tone that your specify. In the 'Image Settings' menu you choose the color (red, blue, sepia, purple..), Color depth, sharpness, and contrast.

DO NOT use the camera's LCD viewfinder to determine the TE on the image. The screen does not do the effect justice. You must download the image to your computer to see the full effect of TE.

When you get a chance you should shoot a series of the same image using the various TE settings to see what they have to offer.

If you don't have the manual for your camera you can download it form Ricoh's website.
