I thought it might be helpful to start a thread specifically dedicated to those of us not upgrading from the GRD I to II, or those of us with new GRD I's. Also, this may help to not confuse folks looking for information specifically related to the GRD II on the other thread. Please, let me know what you think.

Good idea, the GRD I for me is still the best compact camera you can buy. I really like the colors and JPGs it produces.

Of all the cameras I own, I like my GRD-II .... it doesn't seem like an instrument or tool, it's something I have become attached to. It goes where I go..... Thinking of making a little couch for it

I didn't go for the GRD11 because
members here rave about the 1.
I got the DP1 instead and the GX200.
I have seen some nice IQ from the 1
around here....
