New DP1 - Market Shots

I just received a DP1 for the perfect price -- Free! A friend of mine got frustrated with it and gave to me.

Thanks. I checked online and it turned out that I couldn't beat that price...

Honestly, I can somewhat see my buddies point (but not to the degree of giving it away to a bonehead like me).

It is about as ergonomic as a two-by-four, slow, power hungry etc, but it does capture nice images. I have been shooting 95% film with an M6 for the last 6 months, so in comparison it seems OK.

I travel to Europe once a month so this should be the perfect camera to stick in my briefcase.

You gotta love the dynamic range on this babe. Name another compact that can do a shot like the first ones without completely burning the highlights or making the shadows too dark to see.
