I used flash on my color orchid shot. I had my flash off camera and dialed down. I held it in my hand off to the side and at an angle.

Maggie,
All of your macros are fantastic! What kind of a skull is that???

Vladimir,
Wonderful detail-- but very creepy.

Thanks Cindy. Was very creepy, I almost touched the spider with the lens.

Well you succeeded with the eye contact beautifully. And you can bee seen taking the shot reflected in the eye but not distractingly.

G7 and Raynox DCR-250.
Tortoise is only 15mm (3/5") tall.
Wanted eye level contact.
I missed this when first posted. Wow, well done the Raynox 250 is not easy to use with a moving subject. Not too many Canon people using the Raynox's very popular on the Panasonic forums.

This thread inspired me to at least try the "1 cm" setting for macro on my Pentax W60. Not that exciting of a shot (my pocket knife) but cool how close it gets. Just really not used to jpegs.
