One of the charms of walking the back lanes of Hong Kong are the small temples you find. Here are the three gods for this temple, and the wider photo gives you an idea of their home.
The structure on the left is for burning paper offerings -- which can often take the form of paper Mercedes, paper chauffeurs, paper homes, and naturally paper money. They're burned so their spirit travels with the spirit of the dead... so the good life can be enjoyed on the other side.
