Will and Maggie these look great.
Maggie - I've never gotten anything as good with Hipstimatic. What combo of film/lens are you using?

    Re: IPhone Photos

Hi, I absolutely love the hipstamatic app. Unfortunately my iphone died about 3wks ago (dreaded white screen sydrome...) and I'm awaiting a replacement. Heres a few of hipstamatic images, sorry I cant remember the settings (my phone is probably being dissected as I type), I converted them to b&w using gradient map in CS3.

The following is my favourite - it reminds me of a wave barrelling overhead.

    Kind regards

    Matt

I continue to be somewhat surprised/amazed at the Iphone photos and the ones with the Hipstamatic app. I miss that with my Touch of course and haven't even tried photos much with the cell I own.

Here's a Hipstamatic shot from my road trip to Tennessee in February. I don't remember what film/lens combo I used, but I do remember it was at a Chik-Fil-A parking lot.

It amazes me how well it works but it's a little sloppy so lately I've been trying out the Hugin software.

These are all 4-21 images stitched together

    Jasmine is Doggone tired.

I woke her up waving my iPhone in her face. The Hipstamatic app makes this silly "fake shutter" sound, which made Jasmine's ears perk up for a split second. Then it was back to snoring on the sofa.

Maggie there are so many excellent shots on this thread. I like having a a whole suite of Lomo toys where you don't need film. I'm looking forward to seeing how they change the camera for the next generation iPhone. While I love it now....I can love a better one even more.

    Re: IPhone Photos

these are all quite classy. so much for the megapixal race. many remind me of old polaroids. and i suspect with deft processing and a quality up-sizer like genuine fractals, a lot could be done with them. makes me want to get one.

Hi!... These are done with 'AutoStitch' on the iphone. It's not perfect, but it gets it right most of the time. I think it can do up to 15 or so images in one panorama!

    Re: IPhone Photos

Oh these are just a blast -- really look like old Polaroids and I love the square aspect. Last summer I converted an old Pola 250 with a salvaged lens and shutter for full manual control and mostly succeeded in losing the Polaroid "look". Sheer brilliance on my part

Gotta pick up this app and play a bit -- I've always avoided phone cameras, but I definitely *always* have my iPhone with me.

really enjoy these photos. they remind me of holga. looked into the new iphone coming. would love to have it but will stick with verizon (better coverage, cheaper plans). told they have a new htc coming out in a month, so i guess i'll go for that. i do love these photos, however.

I guess the iPhone 4 doesn't work and we are supposed to sue everyone?

    http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/...id=66982&tsp=1

Is there anyway to intervene and take Apple's side in this?
