fire season shifts into gear

three fires yesterday afternoon, one in a trailer court right next to the quincy dispatch office! they had to evacuate and breathe some pretty nasty fumes after. couple hours ago a logging fire above the town of greenville. air attack plane said it could go 500 to a 1000 acres. luckily, the helicopters and tankers knocked it down. lots of crews on the scene right now. i'll keep you posted how the season goes.
