I think the beach plant might look better centred, but otherwise Beautiful!Went with family to Aldeburgh in Suffolk yesterday.
Will, we don't talk enough that you know me... I was joking, because I thought it was perfectly centred, which I loved. Sometimes you can forget that Rule of Thirds to great advantage... as you have. Thanks Don and I agree on the centralizing, in fact I had already cropped the file a bit to try and do just that.
Ah, yes, the era when men were men and fins were FINS. Amazing... so beautiful. Your shot was like being there. The car was a real wonder. Seeing it in an old street with small terraced brick houses made it really shout out to be photographed. My son got some good close up shots as well. Maybe I'll put up the link to his Flickr page when he has had the time to upload them.
Thank you, that's kind. But the best I've been doing lately is trying to find something at lunctimes or taking the cat's photo. The DP2 deserves better.Don't know what you mean about getting more interesting things to photograph, I always love your shots.
Glad I came back to this message... thank you for the recommendation.ps. don, you might enjoy the joe mcnally book

one thing he says is to take more interesting pictures put more interesting things in front of the camera and as an example he shows a studio portrait of the aging but very lively munchkins from the wizard of oz!
