We went there this weekend to document a club a friend is opening soon.
After that I spent two whole days shooting urban seens, both new and fading as well as a heck of a lot of shots with GRD/GT-1 of band; Oh Daddy.
This was right next to my friend Club, shot with the S6000fd;

Thanks Helen :)
I will be posting all the shots I chose to post here from this trip under this thread.
Right now I've some 500+ shots to winnow out
Looooooong drive and little sleep.
It'll be worse when the club actually opens but I am still looking forward to that :)

THIS was with the GT-1, Guitarist was with the 28mm efl lens on the GRD, I misspoke

One thing the band shots taught me; with small sensors and hi ISO, it is far better to fille the frame. Get as close as possible, like the intimacy Mitch mentions in his Bangkok shots.

Interesting shots Lili.

All I knew of Wichita Falls was a rather splendid Pat Metheny album from the 80's - I'm ashamed to say that I wasn't even aware that it was a real place:eek:

Thanks Maggie,
I took far too many at the concert, hard to wade through.
I blame the Jack ;)

Ooops, sorry to post the tailgater shot twice, I was very tired :(
As for the ATV shot, the first vanished for a bit when I edited it.
Guy?
Can you remove one of each?
