Violet Flowers

Thats their color, not the species. This color has been terribly hard for me to capture; I think I finally got it with the Fuji, PE and Silkypix.

No idea if the violet is right but the colours are beautiful, the greens ,cement and dead foilage are marvellous. Sharp too.
all the best

Beautiful image Lili....the contrast with the concrete etc enhances the delicacy of the flowers.

I have a harder time capturing true reds with my Canons, but here's a sort of violet colored flower in my garden that came out pretty much "true to life". Just wish I could remember what kind of flower it is.....

Gary, thank you.
Yours looks rather like this?

I think they're a type of thistle
I sent several images to a botanist friend to ID them
Nice Image BTW :)

Very Ethereal, Will. What with the selective focus :)
And thank you for the compliments :)

Lili,

here is my contribution to your thread. Not much violet here but a bit.
