SD to CF adapter for A900 anyone?

I am going to start using my A900 now and have a question about memory cards. I have a few 4G CF cards which only hold about 100 shots in RAW. I also have a few 16G SD cards that I got for my Panasonic G1.

Is it OK to use an SD to CF adapter in this camera? Anyone tried them?

I believe this will have relatively low speed, but 16G CF cards are expensive and I have 5 16G SD cards I could be using. The adapters are cheap, but I have never used one before.

I have such an adapter in my KM 7D. Works well, but I don't have such a large SD card.

Thanks. I think I need an 'SDHC to CF' adapter. The normal SD to CF adapters will not work.

Sorry Mark I have never tried it, although I would be interested myself as I also have quite a few SD cards to use up.
