Sony's answer to the Leica X1?

I looket at it and couldn't understand the distance from the grip to the lens.....and then I read it was an R1 stretched horizontally. Anyone have any idea if this is being developed by the P&S group or the dslr group? (I'm a fan of the A900 UI not the Sony P&S stuff)

I find the back LCD screen changes are very easy and fast to use. Much better than having to dive into a menu for a simple change.

adding an expresso maker would also mean adding Image Stabilisation that was calibrated to the number of coffees consumed.... the more coffees consumed the great the stabilisation required.
