a850/a900 USB cable type?

I want to replace the USB cable that came with my a900 with a right-angle (90-degree) cable so that I can use the RRS L-plate, with the camera mounted vertically, and still tether.

I shoot products in a vertical format all day, and having to mount the camera horizontally and tilt the tripod head is a PITA, and I can't get the angle I need sometimes.

Thoughts? Is it a Mini B type? Pretty sure it's not Micro B.

My A100, A700 and A900 use Mini Type B 8 Pin. I believe all Sony DSLRs use the same type.

Anyone know where I can get said cable with a 90-degree bend in the plug?

I can find one for just about every other type of USB. I can't help but think that Sony should have thought about that.

Thanks. I found that site before, but it doesn't seem to carry the proper type. The angles they have are perfect, but I only see the Mini Type B, but not that 8-pin type.

Hmmm,
I didn't think there was anything special about the cable that Sony ships.
