A few from Telluride.
Sorry for the cinematic crops
First with kit 18-55 and second with Minolta MD 50 f1.7.
Taken at Serralves Museum in Oporto where a very impressive Thomas Struth exhibit is being held:
About Thomas Struth:
Thanks for looking!
Testing out Bokeh on CV 35MM Nokton Classic. 3200 ISO, out of camera jpg with low noise reduction. Still can't get over the ISO performance compared to my Canon 60D (which I have now sold).
Another from the 35mm Nokton
I really love your fist shot, Joao!
The more I use this lens, the more I like it.

Particularly like the first one - very nice composition and angles!
Very nice one, and I like the PP here as well.
The new year is "ante portas", just around the corner. So let's open the door and welcome the year 2012:
Nex-5n, SEL 16/2.8 @ f/3.5
A happy new year to all friends here at GetDPI!
Hermann (first post here with the new to me Nex 5n, mostly posting in the Nikon threads )
Best regards - Hermann
Al Capone's Cell in Eastern. 21mm 2.8 ZM. 3200 ISO
Nice picture and what a nice cozy apartment.
In the Netherlands, this (rich pays for better jail) was taken to unimaginable heights, a long time ago.
If you ever visit here, you should consider paying a visit to the medieval prison (now a museum and it still makes money ).
(the English version does not have this many pics, unfortunately)
Another from Eastern Penitentiary
Zeiss Biogon 35mm f/2. 20 second exposure. No noise reduction or sharpening in processing, only adjusted white balance. Love how stupid sharp this lens is, and how well the 5N handles noise from extended exposures.
Visited my friends on a snowy day in Denver over the weekend. Living in L.A., I miss the snow!
5N + ZM 50/1.5 and polarizer, around f1.8, I believe:
First photopost here!
A few with the Yashica ML 21 3,5
and the combination in question:
Nice one. What case is that?
It's the Gariz (Corean made, real leather, very nice, but a little expensive) for the NEX 5, but it fits no problem. The only thing not to like about this half case is the tripod screw location. It's on one side, but since I don't use tripods much, I just take the case off when I've got to.

Ciesta makes (in Korea) beautiful Italian leather half cases for NEX that have a nice notch to make it easy to grab the LCD for tilt, and the tripod mount is in the right place. I've been using one for a year, and it is fantastic and well broken in. I'd buy another in a second.
I have been looking for that, but still not one made yet for the NEX-7 and the Ricoh GXR
They really look nice and well made.
5N + 24mm f/1.8

Just got my NEX-5N a few days ago. Still waiting for the Viewfinder.
This was taken with NEX-5N + WATE Tri-Elmar-M ASPH 16-18-21/4 at ISO=2000
5n + 18-200 OSS is an excellent travel camera. Not a pocket one, but lightweight and covers most situations, which means more pics and more keepers. In specific situations some Leica glas gives you top quality.
So I went to a concert in Philly over the weekend. I had my Canon 5DII with zoom lenses and my 5N as backup. The guy at the booth says no DSLRs allowed, only point and shoot cameras. So I chuckle and slip my "point & shoot" with the ZM 50 Sonar attached into my jacket pocket. Mind you I was late to the show and had to take my pics from the very back of the venue. So these images are heavily cropped but I was still able to capture plenty of detail. Band is "JJ Grey & Mofro"
I don't take my 5N-EVF as often as I should, it seems whenever I do I get something that surprises me!
Captured these a couple of weeks ago while visiting Lillooet, BC. It was quite cold, -24C, pushing -45C with the windchill...brrr.
Captured these with the good ol' kit lens.
Horses protecting themselves from the wind.
Over the Fraser River looking north, I really like the abstract ice flow...
Porteau Cove, south of Squamish, BC. Ripping winds were spraying me (and the camera) with salt water, fun!

Just upgraded myself to 5n... and couldn't wait to get out and shoot.. something! Just in time for food truck night at the local high school...
My best 5n image so far :P
Looks great, Charlie.
Testing flare on the ZM 21mm 2.8.
Some new images to put some life into this thread:

Thanks for looking,
Recently went to San Francisco for a couple of meetings, on my way from France to Japan. I had one mrning free before my plane took off, so I traipsed to the Embarcadero, and clocked my first ocean sunrise... ZM 18 @ :8.0
Philber encouraged me to post some San Francisco shots I took on a recent visit:
Ocean Beach (Contax G 90 2,8)
Palo Alto (kit)
Santa Cruz, with the Contax G 28 2,8
Here is my new -go anywhere- Kit.
I received the lens yesterday (and a Minolta CLE was also on the lens ) so I could not try the lens yet.
But I will go on vacation to Mallorca (Balearic Islands) next week and I will see what I get.
PS: Picture is a bit blurred. Sorry.

And here are some images from Tennerife a few months back.
Editor&Owner of Digital Outback Photo
you honor me with your comment. Thank you.
Those pictures were shot with my 5-n
(and maybe my 5 which I used too on the trip-> so that I could have mounted two lenses at a time and change lenses less)
and my Contax G lenses. (28mm, 45mm, 90mm) + varoius "real" filters (Polarizer + Close up lens)
Sometimes I use a Canon Close up lens 250 D (with 46mm to 58mm adapter) on the 45mm (more) or 90mm(less) to get really good macro capabilities.
(Even though the minimum focus distance of the 28mm and 45 mm is pretty low)
I like to shoot like I did when shooting film so the pictures above are only slightly edited via Lightroom (Contrast, Saturation, Sharpening etc)
My "light" travel kit consists of
Contax G 28mm 45mm 90mm
Sony Nex 16mm
Filters (like mentioned above)
2 Contax G adapters
All fits in a small bag and is light enough to carry everywhere.
I own some Leica lenses too but I use the Contax G ones more often because of the lower value in my bag, the less weight and the smaller sizes. The bokeh of the Leica lenses is nicer but I like the Contax Gs bokeh too and they are also pin sharp wide open.
Btw nice pictures everyone !
Keep up the shooting and posting !!!
