hot, It might be just me and my old eye's but if there is supposed to be a difference between left and right images I'm sorry to say I don't see any...... am I missing something?

Ouuuuhhh - you are blind? ;)

You need a (cheap, but good) FullHD 3D monitor! Acer or LG ... for 160 €. Or a 3D tv :) ... € 399 or more.

NEX7 + Makinon 500mm/1:8 (mirror lens) - against (down going) sun.
Distance ca 5-6 meters
