^^ is that yours? If yes you've got some time to spend

I've got a 1965 model 121 (2 door sedan) that needs a new engine, but haven't gotten around to that yet.

Just trying the Winkler/Knorp split image trick (your window should be 2400 + pixels wide for this to work).
A rock garden panorama taken with the A7r+Cambo Actus+Rodenstock 90mm Grandagon-N. Seven shots stitched in AutoPano Pro4 and then cropped and saved as a 2400x1200 pixel jpeg which was split into two halves for upload.

Re: Fun with the Sony A7 Series Cameras( all of them)

I'm getting ready to go on holiday in a few weeks. I've been looking at options for times when i want to reduce the size but still have a tele option. I took the baffle off my e mount tamron 18-200 and was happy to see it almost covers FF at 200mm. Now i just have to wait for the step down ring to see if the teleconverter i have for the sel70200G is ok at 200mm.

The center of the little town Foucarmont was destroyed in WWII and just after the war they build a new church in the style of Le Corbusier.

Vegas (baby?) Part 1, Lake Mead and environs

So a week and a half ago I went to Las Vegas to visit my son and his girlfriend. He kindly drove me to several areas of photographic interest (Lake Mead, Red Rock, The Strip and Death Valley). Here are a few from Lake Mead and environs. A7S mostly with the FE 35 f1.4 but the really wide shot is with the Sigma 12-24 at 12mm. Apologies for redundant views but I'm curious whether the tighter or wider view of the lake is stronger.

    Regards,

Hi Bill, sorry for late response, well spotted yes it's pretty close to Okehampton so I suspect it's the same one that you are thinking of.
They call this the Meldon viaduct, mostly used by cyclists nowadays
Meldon Viaduct - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    Cheers Barry

    _____________________________

In my haste to capture the lone cyclist in the centre of the viaduct (slightly better seen in the LARGER link below), I should have used a lower viewpoint to separate the tree on the left from its background...But it does show the viaduct a bit clearer.

Good shots, Barry - I lived in Okehampton as a child when the LSWR trains used the Meldon Viaduct. Later on, as an irresponsible but adventurous teenager I went back with a buddy and we would walk the viaduct under the rails while the trains thundered overhead. I think I still have some shots which I'll scan and post if I can find them!

    Thank you Bill,
That's a nice area to have grown up as a child with beautiful countryside just minutes away from Okehampton
The Meldon quarry rail way station is still there
Meldon Quarry railway station - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
...but no longer do the trains go over the viaduct...presumably it's not structurally safe for the weight of an engine with it's carriages...The track has been pulled up and now just pedestrians and cycles to and fro across it...Cheers Barry

The not so new is the underside of the “Tamar Bridge” on the left completed in 1961 and the old is Brunel’s famous “Royal Albert Bridge” on the right completed in 1859...The road and rail bridges are two of the most major links between Devon and Cornwall.
