Sony A850 with Maxxum 28-135 zoom.
I've just acquired this zoom and it lives up to its reputation.

Dan/Sherman: Thanks for the additional info on the pontoons. It's surprising, given WSDOT's history, that the engineers actually measured the locks! :)

Cheers, Matt

Re: Fun with the Sony A7 and A7r series

We had a bit of rain a couple of days ago which left a pool of water in a low lying section of our yard. Then, since Mother Nature decided she wasn't quite ready to end Winter, she sent us another blast of cold air. I made this picture this morning when it was 25 deg. Most of the water had receded, and this was left behind. Even though I'm so done with Winter, I appreciated the beauty of this little gift. Nature is magnificent.

Doug, that's magnificent, though i feel sorry for you that winter won't end.
We have full spring with almost summer temps for weeks now :)....

It's been a brutally cold winter, and we're all a bit tired of it. Please send some of your summer weather over here! haha

For one brief moment, the light hit this tree and it was magical. The reduced-sized JPEG doesn't do it justice.

I will bud. She does look cute for sure. Thanks
I know you're her father and I shouldn't say this, but since I'm family I can say it: heads up dad, that's a lot more than cute -- she's smokin hot! LOLOLOLOLOL!

Guy, I don't mind at all. You just have to share any "secret sauce" that you use. :)
