I borrowed my wife's A7R to take on a flying trip (a friend owns a plane).

It is a sweet camera and this was taken with the Sony 70-200mm lens.

What filter did I use to get this effect?

It was filtered through my grey matter - none of this was done with Photoshop filters and such.
