Crescent Lake Temple at Mingsha Shan Park (Echoing Sand Mountain ), Dunhuang, China. This park is located near Dunhuang and is part of the Gobi Desert. Tourists come hear to climb the sand dunes, ride camels and visit other attractions. A7R w/180 Apo-Elmarit-R

That's a remarkable image.

Re: Fun with the Sony A7 and A7r series

We had a line of storms roll through the area this evening. Before this particular one landed on top of us, I grabbed the camera (a7r / FE 70-200), walked out the front door, and fired off a couple frames of the leading edge. Kind of fun to do spur of the moment shots like this every now and then.

Re: Fun with the Sony A7 and A7r series

You're sitting on the ground trying to find your composition for a shoot with models in the coming week. You feel a stone behind you which is digging into you and you push it out of the way. Then you realise it's not a stone but the FD 24mm f2.8 lens which you just bought. The mint copy. Which is now, um, not.

Oh well, here's the final composition (standing and with the 24mm on the camera to add insult to injury), I'll share it once it's had the models added. The grunge style is for the shoot, I'm not just old and mellow.... :D

not the most comfortable looking beach there, Barry :D
Doug, Plenty of comfortable beaches here in Cornwall - Just not too many with safe diving boards unless you liking jumping off of cliffs and dodging the rocks.:eek::eek:

Michiel...Love the reflection but you needed someone about to dive off of that bridge :)
